# How do I set up multifactor authentication (MFA)?

## Setting up MFA

From there, you can set up your security key, Touch ID, Face ID, or authenticator app.

### Security Keys

- **Recommended for ease of use.** Being able to use the fingerprint scanner on your computer or face scanner through your camera to verify identity makes the MFA approval process much faster.
- Click on “Add security key” and follow the prompts.

### Authenticator App

- Great option if you already use one. While Google Authenticator or Authy is named, most internal authentication applications work.
- If you click “Activate authenticator app” it will prompt you to scan a QR code from your phone and enter the active token.
