> **In short:** You can exclude test cases in bulk from your release test plan in Ketryx by following these steps: Navigate to the Test management page in Ketryx Select the appropriate version from the version dropdown Filter or select the test cases you want to exclude - you can use filters or the Ketryx Query…

You can exclude test cases in bulk from your release test plan in Ketryx by following these steps:

1. Navigate to the Test management page in Ketryx

2. Select the appropriate version from the version dropdown

3. Filter or select the test cases you want to exclude - you can use filters or the Ketryx Query Language (KQL) in the search bar to narrow down your selectionExample: ![](https://support.ketryx.com/hc/article_attachments/35153508737933)

4. Once you've selected the test cases, choose "Manage release test plan" > "Exclude selected tests"![](https://support.ketryx.com/hc/article_attachments/35153533334925)

5. Confirm the exclusion![](https://support.ketryx.com/hc/article_attachments/35153508738957)

After excluding tests from the release test plan, you can include them again later if needed by selecting them and choosing "Manage release test plan" > "Include selected tests".

Note that excluded test cases don't need to be executed for the release, while still maintaining proper traceability for their tested items. However, a non-default test plan will need to be approved by the relevant approval steps defined by the Test Plan approval rules before the version can be released.
