# Does Ketryx support Git-based risks?

Yes, you can create a risk in a `.md` file in Git, which will be read only in Ketryx. To do this, use the following field keys:

- Initial likelihood of occurrence (P1)

- Initial likelihood of harm (P2)

- Initial total probability

- Initial severity

- Initial risk evaluation

- Residual likelihood of occurrence (P1)

- Residual likelihood of harm (P2)

- Residual total probability

- Residual severity

- Residual risk evaluation

- Risk acceptability

However, we recommend managing risks directly in Ketryx to support use of calculated fields and to ensure the best overall user experience.
