# How do I configure a Jira project with existing tickets to use the Ketryx-provided issue types, screens, and workflows?

To configure a Jira project with existing tickets for use with Ketryx, perform the following in the Jira project settings:

Under _Work items / Types_, click _Actions / Use_ a different scheme and switch to the _Ketryx issue type scheme_ (or a desired variant with a subset of the issue types). You might have to define mappings from your current issue types to the Ketryx issue types.

Under _Work items / Screens_, click _Actions / Use_ a different scheme and switch to the _Ketryx issue type screen scheme_.

Under _Workflows_, click _Switch Scheme_ and switch to the _Ketryx workflow scheme_. You might have to define mappings from your current workflow statuses to the statuses used by Ketryx workflows.

Note that this only works for _company-managed_ Jira projects.
